A proud addition to the thriving Ramarama community, this distinctive facility comprises a single-level building and an expansive play area, spread across a generous 1,232 square meters.
The center has been carefully segmented into three specialised care zones, catering to youngsters aged 0–18 months, 18–36 months, and 3–5 years. With a commitment to a sustainable future, every facet of the design and construction process was meticulously executed, focusing on the well-being of children and the environment. Meticulous attention was paid to the selection of materials, interiors, and furnishings that not only promote the health of the children but also align with the ecological balance of the surroundings.
A noteworthy feature of this childcare center is its seamless integration of indoor and outdoor areas, offering year-round enjoyment regardless of weather conditions. The structure showcases exposed LVL timber posts, beams, and trusses, with high ceilings and sleek concrete floors. The plywood soffit is a significant architectural element of the build, complemented by wrap-around timber decks to form a harmonious connection between the indoor activity areas and the outdoor play space. Care was taken to establish shaded zones within the outdoor area, ensuring that children can enjoy the outdoor facilities while staying safely shielded from the sun.
