Janine joins the Classic team after spending six years with Skyline Enterprises, a national and international tourism operator. Prior to that, she was COO at Mt Cook Alpine Salmon, GM of Martinborough Vineyard, and has both a Commercial and Chartered Financial background.
Janine was drawn to this role at Classic by the industry and the people in the business; their passion for the industry, their customers, and their communities.
Janine is also a member of the Institute of Directors and enjoys being involved in governance and strategy beyond the realms of the day-to-day. She is on the Boards of Wanacare and Tourism Waitaki and has had previous positions as Chair of the NZ Salmon Farmers Association, a Director of Aquaculture New Zealand, Chair of Toast Martinborough, and Chair of Wines from Martinborough.
And when she has a pocket of spare time, you’ll find her outdoors. Janine is looking forward to exploring the region, biking the trails, climbing Mauao, and hitting the beach.
Janine is looking forward to the challenge of diving into a new industry, learning everything construction and property, and partnering with the various businesses to drive positive financial and commercial outcomes.
