The vision for Kaimai Views was clear from the outset, this large-scale residential subdivision was established as a collaboration between the Western Bay of Plenty District Council and Classic Developments to bring some affordable housing to the region.
We were tasked with turning two existing kiwifruit orchards and one avocado orchard plus associated marginal land into residential sections.
In addition to the master planning, design and build process, Classic Developments managed and integrated substantial infrastructure upgrades for stormwater, wastewater and roading both within the development site and external to the site
On its completion there will be 238 lots spread over 8 stages. The housing will be a mix of two- and three-bedroom standalone houses, with a portion designed for “first home buyers” under the KiwiBuild scheme. The subdivision will have a great balance of residential homes complimented with parks and recreational areas
